Inadequate fuel delivery can cause all sorts of issues. You can monitor the HPFP side so it might be possible to see the fuel pressure values on the low side with a scan tool app too. If so you could keep an eye on them both to get an idea if the low pressure side which should be between 55-65psi is having issues. The psi on the high pressure side should be between around 800 at idle to 3,000 under heavy engine load. If the LP side psi dips too low then you would also see a corresponding drop on the HPFP side as it's starved for fuel.
I've logged it before, but nothing really stood out tbh. It was always at 60+ psi. that may not have been the case during the specific instances I mentioned, but in terms of logging it trying to figure out why I'm having misfires, I had trouble drawing a correlation. There were a few cases of it dipping several PSI below desired, but it was still always above 60.

I guess it sometimes pays to be an early adopter, my 21 job 1, production date of June 26th, 2021 does not fall within the time frame. Supposedly , the recall affects July 1, 21 and later production.

I will be curious to see what this does to my 22 tremor trade value... was going to trade in about a month.

I've got in on FordPass and NHTSA. Strange that thye don't have a fix but state that 10% of recalled vehicles will experience the issue. Probably figuring out how to close the recall without really changing anything. I've seen that before with Ford.

Our Sport Trac (bak in 2002) had the leaking cruise control switch in the master cylinder. The firsst fix was disable the cruise control to preent a fire. Final fix was add afuse so when the switch shorted to ground the fuse would blow. Then teh owner was responsible for the repair Ford didn't want to pay for. Repalcing the switch opened the brake ssytem and required a refill and bleed. The fuse solution took about a minute to remove the cable and add a short fuse cable.

Ditto, good to be a job 1 truck for once.

Peak Covid. Shit was going to happen. 8.9 vehicles per 1000 is 0.9%, not 10%.

The Ford recall on page 1 does say that up to 10% of the listed vehicles could be affected. But on one of the last pages it also says the failure rate is 8.9 per 1000 vehicles by the 150K miles/10 yr point. Maybe how to read this is: of the ~455,000 F150s that could be affected, only 10% will have the faulty pump, and of that 45,500 trucks, only 8.9 out of 1000 will have the issue by the 150K/10yr point, so this could be as little as ~400 total F150 trucks that ever experience the issue If nothing was done to fix it. Ford math could be different than this, who knows.

So I got the notice in my Ford Pass as well. = I thought I was a Job 1 build (outside of date range, but perhaps not), I will have to look for frame sticker, but I got Ford Pass, so I may have issue right?

Also I saw here: https://fordauthority.com/2025/07/850k-ford-motor-company-vehicles-recalled-over-faulty-fuel-pump/

Number of vehicles affected: 850,318 total possible - 10% is 85,031 across all product lines,

Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2021-2023 Ford Bronco, Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Ford Mustang, Ford F-150, and 2022 Ford Expedition models over an issue with the fuel pump.

But since they make more F150's than any other type, I figure %5 F150s? = 42,515 F150's total that might need the repair?

Nothing like loosing power at speed and crashing! :(

Also: https://www.livernoismotorsports.co...ts-f150-stage-2-system-dual-21-flex-fuel-pump - Plug and play but you need to tune it.

So some truck are affected, and some aren’t.
I guess that the factory had multiple suppliers for the pumps. Only one supplier had the the defects?

I read it the same: 10% of the vehicles will have the suspect pump, of which about 10% will fail. Will be alot of other failures on and f150 by 150K. At least the fuel pump will be covered by a recall :) :)
