Well, I got the notice for my 2022 VIN. So it goes.

I've been the subject of 5 recalls now, including the Max Tow Axle Bolt. Whether by luck or good karma, I've not suffered any problem or failure relating to any of these recalls to this date.

Nothing to do other than stay chill, keep enjoying my truck, and hope for the best. ?

One thing for sure, I'm not gonna let this put a damper on how much I truly love my truck, it's a joy to drive every day, and I'm still 100% confident that no other truck would or will give me similar satisfaction.

No worries for me, this too shall pass, I'm in it for the long-haul, YMMV. :)

I'm right up there with you with the recall count. For the most part it's been a non-issue aside from the Max tow axle. Had the entire rear end fail at 13K miles and Ford replaced all the internals prior to their having a solution in place for the recall.

Bummer, and some inconvenience I'm sure, but it sounds like they kept you, like many others, on the road with an interim fix (y)

I'm reasonably confident that similar will happen with this fuel-pump issue, maybe installing another 'new-old-stock defective' pump (or whatever) IF a problem arises while pending the "final remedy".

They did. Dealer took about a week to identify it and a day to do the job once the parts were in. Then when Ford finally got the upgraded axles in they swapped them out in 1/2 a day. So far I have not had any issues with loss of power with mine, but I'm old and don't drive like I'm 18 anymore either lol.

Well it's not just the F150. Looks like Ford used the same crap pump on 11 different models. Approximately 850K vehicles impacted. If Ford is going to replace all these pumps It's going to take them a very long time.....

Good info. Thanks. Reading through that, looks like there are ~455,000 F150s from 2021-2022 and the failure rate is estimated at 8.9 vehicles per 1000 by the 10 year and 150K mile point. So, based on Ford‘s analysis, about 4,050 F150s will be affected by their 10 year 150K mile point. Less than 1%, assuming Ford math. Sucks to be that 0.9%, but….

hmmm. So I got the notification. I wonder if this is the source of the rough idle and random misfires I've been having. Mine has never stalled, but there have been 1 or 2 near-stalls and an instance of idle surging that I've experienced over the last few months. It's all been driving me bonkers trying to figure it out

Inadequate fuel delivery can cause all sorts of issues. You can monitor the HPFP side so it might be possible to see the fuel pressure values on the low side with a scan tool app too. If so you could keep an eye on them both to get an idea if the low pressure side which should be between 55-65psi is having issues. The psi on the high pressure side should be between around 800 at idle to 3,000 under heavy engine load. If the LP side psi dips too low then you would also see a corresponding drop on the HPFP side as it's starved for fuel.
