My 2022 F-150 Powerboost was "Repurchased" so I went to the Dealer and told her I wanted another truck like the one "Repurchased". I had a lot of trouble with my 2022 but was still impressed with the design and engineering of the truck. She said I could no longer get a 2022 but would have to order a 2023 to which I agreed. She filled out the order which showed it would cost me an extra $8,000 to replace my "Repurchase". It then seemed to me that FMC was adding an $8,000-Insult to my 2022 Powerboost-Injury so I cancelled that order and went to GMC to order a Sierra --- for the same amount I received from the "Repurchase". For a bit of time I felt some regret about leaving the Powerboost but that passed when I noticed that the Ford F-150 Powerboost was rated by CR to be the Least Reliable Vehicle sold in the United States in 2022.

And that’s how you lose a customer. It’s like Ford thinks there’s no competition out there

They really are gearing up for this award if they keep up with all the issues and sheer lack of support for their customers.

I think the new Sierra has a better interior than the F-150 now too. That wasn't true when I ordered my 22 KR.

Ford has quickly burned though my goodwill and after 6 Ford trucks, I will be looking elsewhere next time.

I like your picture as it looks like the house I built in the Arkansas River Valley of Colorado. I bought 2-acres in Chalk Creek Canyon at 8,800 feet, drew out a 3-bed 2-bath house on my computer, bought a truck load of lumber and other stuff, and built my own house. The crooks and "water owners" drove me to sell this treasure.

The interesting development is that Consumer Reports recognizes all of the grief FoMoCo has inflicted on those of us that spent a lot of money on the Ford F-150 Powerboost by awarding FoMoCo the "Most Unreliable Vehicle in the USA in 2022" award.

Glad I'm not yet in the club. My only complaint of the PB is that it's not a PHEV w/ the larger hybrid motor. There's not enough parts on the truck that could break to have me even possibly considering another GM. Owned a 22 for about 8 weeks.

I guess it's consoling to be consoled by consumer reports?
I can't blame anyone for drawing their line on buying from a brand that you had a negative experience with. But Consumer Reports wouldn't make the insult feel any better.

By the way, a 2023 GM truck cost more than a 2022 GM truck.
Inflation isn't a Ford exclusive.
A 2023 truck by any manufacturer is going to be less truck for the money than your 2022 Powerboost was.

I like everyone's comments on how CR has gone down the tubes.
The results are based on a user survey, and then are shoved through custom weighting.

Owners are asked about creaks and rattles, the durability of parts and trim, and mechanical issues. Consumer Reports assigns a weight to each problem and then uses them to create a score, with 100 being the best.
Every year, CR asks its members about problems they’ve had with their vehicles in the previous 12 months.
This is shit methodology for anything beyond a rough estimate, and lends itself to brand impression. I don't say my Toyota has problems because Toyotas don't have problems. I'm fine talking about my Jeep's squeaks and rattles because it's a Jeep and Jeeps squeak and rattle.

This is all just people tuggin' it out to their own bias-porn anyway.
