IMHO, a 2" front lift and 35x11.5 tires on the stock wheels is THE look.
Keeps it classy and stock-ish without turning it into bro dozer. Nothing wrong with a bad@$$ bro dozing mall crawler, but I don't know anyone that actually enjoys using one as a daily driver.
I did Eibach coil overs in the front (adjustable but set it to raise 2") and just replaced the shocks in the rear with Eibachs as well. Took away the bouncy ride and replaced it with a harsh ride. I'm sure the heavier tires (35x11.5) also contributed to the change. Loved the look, hated the...
NOPE. This is the internet. Rules dictate that all opinions must utilize a zero-sum perspective. 5.0 is the answer and if you don't agree, you're not just wrong, but probably a fascist.
TLDR Answer:
AK-47 vs M-16
Get the V8 if you tend to like things that are dumber and simpler but [probably] more reliable (AK)
Get the PowerBoost if you like things fancy and complicated but [maybe] more prone to bugs (M16)
☝This.
With a 2" leveling coilover on the front and NO trimming or air dam removal at all, I ran Nitto Recon 35 x 11.5 on the stock BAP 20" wheels with NO rubbing whatsoever. It's fairly well established that tire width and wheel offset (not tire diameter)is what requires the extensive...
Funny you say that. When I had my lift installed, one shop COULDN'T align it. I took it somewhere else and this guy clearly knew what he was doing but said the new F150 are famously difficult to get "right". Especially after a lift.
Yes. You'll need to do it and a subpar shop with a dude used to aligning miatas will have problems. I know. It took 4 visits to 3 shops to get mine right. The SPC Kit is almost a necessity as is a good 4x4 shop with an "Alignment Whisperer".
This thread evolved nicely from superchargers to time travel to Christopher Lloyd to Star Trek (The Search for Spock). Of course, the last post would not have been possible without…
That's only partially true. The flux capacitor is available from O'reilly but you also need a Mr Fusion. Since these parts are designed to be installed on a DeLorean, you should get in touch with Jesse-Infotainment to help you with the interface.
Thank you all for making my first Ford-owning experience much better. After two years and 50k miles, I have returned to my roots and am back driving a GMC. This forum certainly seems unique to me in that it tolerates almost none of the typically toxic crap on social media sites and is genuinely...
Drilling holes in my bed triggers me.
Spending money on something I don't need and only like the look of also triggers me.
Why?
I wouldn't do that.
Well done. I think it actually looks better than the Builtright.
I DO support autonomous driving but agree with you on who is at fault. When people do VERY stupid things, it's tough for there not be consequences. Neither people nor robots can mitigate this 100% of the time.
I have driven over 100k miles with GM's Gen 1 Super Cruise. It functions similarly to Blue Cruise. I can confirm that it IS NOT proficient enough to take evasive maneuvers due to an object (car) that rapidly appears in front of the vehicle. If the robot was following a car and that car then took...
