Gas generators? Meh. I roll with a natural gas whole house. Would said anything about gas generators? I don't carry gas cans. I just wait 10 seconds for power to run through my house.

Well I was hoping I'd see a full page of updates, but this is all you got. Your truck, minus the APIM update, is completely up to date for ALL modules. I know @Snakebitten saw a huge improvement after the PCM update but it appears you got that.

Anyone with a Powerboost got any ideas on anything that could be reset in FDRS to maybe rejigger the truck to act better?

Possible issue with the throttle position sensor, but I still say give resetting the adaptive tables a try.

Yea, my assumptions were way off!
I didn't realize his truck would have spent as much time as it obviously has, in a service bay getting updates through FDRS. I'm kinda impressed with his dealership? ??

As @Porpoise Hork suggested, all I can think of to try is another shot at clearing the adaptive tables, but if his truck has received multiple pcm updates, then his tables were cleared each time.

That update list is a shocker.

If that’s the case they were last reset 2 weeks ago.

Have you tried using Sports mode or Eco mode shifting strategies to improve your driving experience? Is Auto Hold off? I'm guessing you would love to see RAM mode, but I do not think Ford has an OTA update planned for that.

My favorite transmission I ever had for shift strategy was in a 4 speed 2002 Toyota Camry that I bought new and I still have. Actually all my vehicles that were early 2000's and older gave me a much nicer driving experience.

Definitely, the old slush boxes with fewer speeds and way less focus on power and efficiency were a lot smoother

yes, eco mode does make a slight improvement but I frequently forget to hit the button to stay en eco mode when starting the truck. Why can't you set a default? And yes, auto hold is off.

Wow, thanks for checking into that. On the last visit they said they had to reload something like 12 modules because I was getting constant errors that disabled BLIS and cross traffic warnings.

I’ve got a 22 powerboost XLT and I love mine. I think the ride is really good for a full size truck. I’m getting a solid 25+ mpg over 8k miles so far. Mine was a little jerky at time after I got it but a trans relearn on forscan pretty much took care of that. And yeah that 7.2 generator has been a godsend. So much easier than getting out my other generator and silent running our whole house. Hopefully you can get yours sorted out.

I like my Powerboost and it rides good to me. I use the generator and it does fine. I don’t have natural gas available at my house so I don’t have that luxury.

For what it’s worth every engine has its quirks.

The clutch slamming on/off for the hybrid was the deal breaker for me on the powerboost. The one I test drove did that a few times and I thought that it would only get worse over time.

So I reset the transmission table with forscan and drove a couple of miles. There seems to be a change from lower gear issues to higher with some noticeable and audible clunks. When slowing down the transmission would go from 7 to 5 with a mild jerk and this happened a few times. I couldn't drive it much cuz getting late so when I got reset the tables again and will be driving a bit around town tomorrow. I appreciate the responses and suggestions.

The clunks definitely are different than what I had before. Is this just the transmission figuring itself out?
