Interesting! I'll hook up to the truck later tonight and see if anything is there.
Thanks for the info.
It’s a short update in FDRS, if your Ethernet is in working order. First file (at F120) installs via USB. The second file (at F188) is CAN bus. Takes about a half hour total, give or take.

about 2hrs ago i got 6.2.0 re-release??? what cracks me up more than anything
is truck was parked inside garage about 10 feet from my garage wifi ant repeater for 5 days straight with no human intervention and never did anything, maybe hal played games online??
this afternoon truck sat outside in the cold under the carport and decided to update

so a few minutes ago
i went out to truck, started it and it HAD no message of installed updates...........
no new place in APPs , but it did add trailer maintenance and gilbert had everything overdue, so i reset it and went back to the now new checklist to see what all was in there, it needs some trimming IMO

Looks like they cheaped out on the F150 animations as in no animations text only. May change once the official IPMA release is out. We will test more and see if anything else shows up.

All that is identical to me Boatr. Other than the cold carport part.

I saw the trailer stuff and had to look back where my trailer was parked to make sure it wasn’t on fire there were so many maintenance things past due.

It’s not worth it! There are no new animations!
It’s just text above the driver assistance visuals!

ford took the cheap route on this one
That was 100% sarcasm. It will hold me up on future updates and leave my truck stuck in a weird limbo again if I don't manually install it over CAN. I'm not rushing into it, but when and if they send it OTA it will fail over and over for my truck.

It is possible that text are just placeholders and will add animations in future update. I somewhat have doubts because we have text only for other things.

We will see. I would still try this one via USB to see what happens. You never know

I'm like Rugedraw with the bad Ethernet port. OTA IPC instantly fail every time. USB has never worked. I'm not opposed to a miracle to save me time but I'll wait on Rugedraw results of that experiment.

Most likely I'll wait out the OTA triggers before paying for FDRS again in the spring. It's getting too cold to be dealing with updating truck in driveway.

Nope ... sadly confirmed via FDRS ... No Love for the Tremor.

Guess it's time to connect the truck to my home WIFI and put the battery on a charger. Fingers crossed.

Be impressed if it actually uses Wi-Fi for an update.

Typically we start our trucks to trigger OTA download and then leave to go somewhere. I've been intending to wait until I have one in queue and see if I can force it to use WiFi but Ford isn't sending me a trigger yet.

My truck never uses wifi for the update downloads, even thou it's connected to my wifi with a strong signal. All updates have been via LTE.

Usage for 30 days, 57kb. I've received 3 updates in that time.
