ACM update is there for me, too.

That's a hard pass. I invoke the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" bylaw.

The ACM in the MME reset some of my settings in the screen, others reported radio station preset wipes. Haven't done it to the 150 yet, need some food

The ACM update updates the Strategy only. Its strange the strategy file has been out a while.

I don't have the practical means to dive into workings of the system, but based on experience it sounds like the amp turns on before the audio output device. It can also turn on and off a few times with the door open. To me at least, it sounds like the ACM is turning on after the amp causing the same type of pop you'd get from inserting a mic into a live input jack.

Yeah kinda like that, every time the camera comes on, added with DSP update, but no more loud random pops. I can't say that is a fix but it's less annoying. Maybe that ACM update will fix that. ?‍

ACM update caused no problems for me. It seems to be more extensive than just a minor strategy file update. Mine updated nodes F123, F124 and F188—more than I was expecting.

I have some after market goodies in my truck as far as the sound system goes where I'm still retaining most of the stock components. I'm very happy with how it sounds now, and I'd prefer not to mess with it. Same with the PCM update. If I install the PCM update, it will wipe the Livernois tune from my truck to give me a feature I don't care about. Even though they have the new strategy on file to send me the updated tune, it just means I gotta put the new tune back in afterwards. I've gotten over my "need to be fully updated" OCD. Lol

Reasonable. I have no idea what the update would do to a non-stock sound system.

For the GWM, check FORScan and see what software version it’s reporting. If it’s newer than what FDRS is showing, the software installed fine. FDRS just failed to update the as-built data.

As for the ACM, go ahead and select “No“ to the woofer prompt. The software will then proceed to install. Nodes F123, F124 and F188 all receive an update.

ACM didn't fix the amp power-on click I hear in the speakers, but I still have another amp to install as well as both of my subs. Will be reconfiguring other wiring as well. I do too many temp test configs, need to button it up once and for all.

I don’t have BlueCruise so I am speculating a little on the CMR. Since it is showing purple in FDRS, it is currently bricked. You might be able to recover it by running the PMI tool on that module, selecting ”yes” when asked if this is a new installation. The PMI should pull down any new software and reload your as-built data.

That’s too bad. It was a fairly big update for this module. It didn’t do any harm but operationally I can’t tell if it did anything at all.

NOPE? Yes It is a strategy only file. Your Presets ar ein the HEx as as build. The ONLY FILE that changes is the Strategy!

I thought you were responding to the guy who said it wiped his favorites. In any case, it updated quite a bit of stuff when I ran it on my '21 Job 1.
