ECU module programming guide using FDRS

So which module is the "modem" that is supposed to be talking to the great mothership in the sky? Sync/OTA told me that does not appear to be working but did not say which module it is. Is it the APIM? Thank you.

I wonder if there's an update that fixes the AC fan speed issue. Sometime my low/non-recirculate is super high and sometimes it's not. Sometimes my low/recirculate is super high and sometimes it's not. If one is not as high as it should be, the other one is....

It does not force you to update.

I guess I'm the reason you know 37.4.3 and 37.4.4 are buggy then.

It's not really serious, I just had to uninstall (twice, once for each jacked-up version) and roll back to 36.4.8.

So to circle back on this...

I submitted a ticket and got a response that basically said the problem wasn't reproducible on their end and gave me a few things to try.

One of them worked and I should have thought of that sooner...it was "Remove all user data" during the uninstall of 36.4.8 to clear out the cached data and start fresh.

So I tried that and it is working okay now when reviewing previous session logs.

So I'm updated to 37.4.4 and it seems to be working fine.

I finally caved in and licensed up to run a scan against the Mighty Powerboost. I guess I couldn't live with that PCM update just taunting me endlessly.

Turns out I had accumulated a nice assortment in the queue

The PCM update was tied to the ABS update. No surprise.

All went smoothly. I noticed that Ford has updated instructions for APIM updates?
Door open and wait 10 minutes?
They sound like they have read this thread. ?

By the way, I noticed that the PCM update doesn't clear from the queue after it is applied.

A second attempt confirms it's the same update already applied. So if you are OCD about such things, you've been warned.
