ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Roll back? Is that a good thing? I never installed the bad BCM, I wait it out then it was removed from my list. I haven’t noticed any issues.

Only reason I checked today because I finally got an OTA update out of the blue. 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM

Yes. you got the OTA for the BCM and now its showing a rollback in FDRS.. SO dont do it. Read my post it explains it

Yes.. That is it.. Make sure your headlights are working. They may have fixed it but Still worth checking

I received that 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM update on the 10th and Alexa was not working. Was instructed to got to Ford.ca and connected services. Which I did at Alexa was active. I checked the Sync version and my blue tooth had no address, just zeros. A few start cycles later, she was back.

Just wondering what modules did this update change?

Yes it happened after last apim update and unreal engine interface.

Mine did the same thing. I noticed it yesterday

Riddle me this...

I tried to update my APIM and the download failed to complete. Tried it twice. No joy. So I waited till a couple of days later to try again. But now when I go into FDRS and look at updates, it's gone. No update for APIM any more.
Any ideas? I have not received any OTA updates.

Are the BCM update cumulative? This is first BCM update I got with 22-pu1009-tlc-csm? Does this mean I got all prior fixes also?

No. Olny reason you got this ota is because you were at AAH strategy if you were at AAG it wouldnt have hit your truck

In FDRS, when it initially brings up all of my modules and they show green, they also show the part number and the software part number.

My issue is that the software part number is only a partial one for my APIM. All of the others show a full part number. Could this be why my APIM does not show an update available anymore?

If so, how do I get FDRS to properly read the part number?

It’s a bug. It doesn’t mean or affect anything. There’s nothing you can do about it.

If you select the module, then scroll down, FDRS will show you the information that was missing in the grid.
It's all there.

Although technically true, the information is not particularly useful here—a waste of time in my opinion. The APIM data you’ll find in FDRS simply digs into the as-built data and lets you read the calibration version at the various nodes. Not helpful, when everyone compares APIM software and revision versions that are found on the Sync screen and cannot be found in FDRS. All you‘ll get from FDRS is data without a common frame of reference to other users.
