Just tried again with the same error. Maybe something with Canadian trucks?

Oh maybe so, or maybe wherever the server is that hosts FDRS content. I would assume Ford has a few spread around N.A.

Hmmm. I updated both my APIM and TCU this morning without issue. I’d keep trying. If you start getting close to the end of your license period, reach out to @Jesse-Infotainment . He probably has a trick or two to push forward a manual configuration—maybe a PMI will do it.

So how do you get the local dealer to update the pcm,when I explained to the service adviser about my truck needing tsb 22-2224 they said oh dont worry you have plenty of warranty left,wth.

Trying to update to the latest APIM which required a USB. Im using the same USB that has worked before. Even did a full format as opposed to a quick format and still fails. After 5-10 mins in the truck it says

USB Error
Code_0
The update cannot continue because an error occurred.

any ideas? No other updates available and I’ve tried several times now.

Did you format it using EXFAT? If not, you'll need to.

Yep twice even after it was already that way and worked previously for other updates which required USB.

Best way to get the dealer to apply a TSB is to read it carefully and then go into the dealer and tell them you have the exact problem described in the TSB. Don’t necessarily mention the TSB itself, just tell them what your problem is in a way that matches the description in the TSB. If they can tie an update to a specific customer complaint, then they can justify applying it as a repair.

This has come up before. See the discussion beginning at Post #6496. It could be a bad APIM but a final resolution to the issue was never posted that I could find.

Are there any noticeable changes after updating the TCU?

Also I have a 21 PB I believe it's a job2, but I did not lose securialert after updating the latest Apim.
