Do you have the secure alert under safety and security in the vehicle tab? Maybe you need to turn it off and on? I don’t know really

It used to work when it first came out, but as lately, its spotty. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I only use it when its at the dealer for work.

I still have no secure alert after doing the TCU update yesterday.

I have no idea what is wrong with secure alert, but I think it is a bigger problem overall. Many Lightning owners have lost complete ability to control charging through the app at all. I can't get my truck dialed down even for a known charger. It always wants to charget to 100%. I know there seemed to maybe be a certain set of events when secure alert went away - or it seemed like that maybe, but nothing we can do will get our trucks to communicate and control charging.

Seems Ford might be one step forward and two steps back. Hoping they can get all of this working again soon.

My SecuriAlert is still missing but I haven't updated the TCU yet either. Do we believe that will be an OTA update?

I don’t. Prior to master reset it was fully functional on my truck: now it’s MIA. I’ve tried everything I can think of and I’ve had no luck. I don’t want another master reset so I’ll wait it out I suppose

And you don’t see anything different than my truck? Of course with me not getting alerts that doesn’t mean anything

I’ve seen some commonality between my truck and other trucks that don’t have and I’ve seen commonality between trucks that do have it but it’s pretty hard to narrow it down. I have tried some things. It’s tough though when it take time to have things show up.
