Great job and I know it will be useful to some, but not sure why if someone has the B&O system and they are upgrading why they don't just take the factory tweeter out of the factory housing - and put the new tweeter in?
Just a week back I had the similar problem. Support had me reinstall FDRS on top of the old one. Did not uninstall first. Then immediately reboot. Once the PC is up, then log in and make sure you don't use a cached credential. Worked perfect after that.
As others have noted, your home Wifi speeds far exceed what your bandwidth is that you've got coming in from the ISP. Wired might be a tad more reliable, but in today's world with retries, etc Wifi should pose no real problems, as long as you have a decent signal.
It's really not. It just shows how much Tesla / Musk lives rent free in the heads of many, and truly how good they are and the threat that most feel from them.
One thing this thread hasn't ventured on is simply how Tesla is decimating the old build processes of all the legacy makers. Farley...
The dealers don't have a clue what the Lightning can do. The dealer - of most ANY make and model are typically the least knowledgable of them. They are 1000% driven by which one brings the most money to their bottom line and that is what you are going to get sold.
The FDRS guys will be along to help soon. In the mean time get a 10 mm wrench and disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Leave it off about 10 minutes. That is the best help you can give your truck in several situations, but especially if it is new to you and something seems to be...
I'd check for you but my 2 day license expired this morning. You likely have a good hand full for sure. I'm not sure there was anything earth shattering from these. I already had the BCM, IPMA and other modules that brought me BC 1.4 and WAL (Lightning).
Just think of it as sweating off a few pounds. I updated for about an hour on Friday afternoon in TX. Garage door open, truck parked about half way in, windows down, doors closed. Slight breeze, but plenty of sweat.
Edit - I updated 13 modules in about 45 minutes for those looking at...
Thought I would add an update since a Google search found this thread for me. I tried everything I could find including post 1 a few times to get logged into FDRS today. New first time user/install on Windows 11. No suggestion I could find would work.
I gave up and called support...
Possibly with wireless CarPlay, but it's up to the auto to help negotiate the wifi connection. So it's a stretch to say CarPlay has an issue. I used wired just to alleviate my hate for the whole system and honestly it's 100% perfect if you just plug in and ignore the wireless set up.
You are understanding that correct, but don't be mistaken, this is Ford. You don't have to do that to other advanced vehicles like Tesla or Rivian. You are having to do this because it is Ford, not truly because it is advanced, you know kind of like Windows vs Apple.
So I just read and learned on another forum that the '25 Exporer is running the new Android based OS. Is this true on your Explorer you refer to? If so you should find a lot of differences I would think. https://www.ford.com/technology/ford-digital-experience/

Mikes update about a USB stick here, but there is a new TSB out with some data in it and it actually says a Gen 2 is usable...
If you are looking for a cheaper entry than the Mongoose - this popped up a month or so back. At least a couple of Lightning owners are using it and I now own one, but haven't used it yet. @Mike G has it and has done some testing, but don't know that it has been put through 100% of its paces...
I guess it is time to get in line. I don't want to be too complicated, but I don't really want the cable before mid-September. So if I bubble up before then I'll hold til then.
The '23 Lightnings are now caught up to the '22's, so I want to give Ford a couple of weeks to see if they will...
You are the one that seems to think the EV is the paperweight - I just needed to point out how you don't know what you are talking about. It'll do everything you are enjoying from the Powerboost.
