ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Car just threw a whole slew of additional errors, I cleared them and restarted but now there is a new one with SACM that cant get to go away. I tried to search for TSB info on it but cant find much. I ran the PCSM configuration and tried to reboot both but still there. @rugedraw - any ideas?

Really hope I'm not destroying my truck...

Attached is the TSB those codes are referencing. Looks like it just needs an IPMA alignment procedure done.

Edit: I would just reboot the GWM with FORScan first to see if it goes away.

I'm very doubtful of you harming your truck. You are simply wading through the FDRS waters and sometimes there's some weird stuff floating around. You'll get through it.

@rugedraw - interesting thing, started the car yesterday evening and the unreal theme is gone. I double checked APIM changes I made and all are in line with livn's sheet. No new cameras at speed and now unreal theme and climate bar dont show on bottom of screen.

I cleared the PCM DTC and ran the configuration from the TSB and errors are cleared. Thank you!

One new issues has presented, hoping someone might have suggestion. Running boards make loud whinning (running motor) noise for 3-4 seconds after running boards have been deployed. I ran the self test, no issues and didnt make the noise. Seems like module needs to relearn where down is. Thoughts?

Did you update the DSM? My DSM update broke it with the over-run and I had to replace it.

Good morning! Have been communicating with Rugedraw regarding this whole process and he has been amazing! I"m trying to purchase my first FDRS license this morning, and never did get a confirmation that the $50 order when through, so hit submit order again. Now have 2 $50 charges pending on my Amex account. Should I be receiving an email with the activation codes immediately upon charging my card? Didn't even see a confirmation screen or email. Excited about starting, but don't want to keep running up new charges. Is there a delay in getting the emails? Sorry in advance for the questions.

Go back to the motorcraft account, login, you should see the activation code under the subscriptions tab.

Also, Sunday mornings Ford servers are being serviced. Sunday morning is not the best time to use FDRS.

I definitely get confirmation on the screen that the credit card transaction succeeded and then the license key is presented at that time.

So something didn't process successfully, from what it sounds like you describe
