My APIM has been broken since the 4.2.2 update I got in May. After 5 months of my bluetooth calls dropping, loud audio glitches, random freezing and rebooting of my 12" screen, and my backup camera stuttering, freezing, or failing to turn on; I really hope this new update will be the solution to my problems. I'm tired of waiting for Ford to fix what they broke.

Even the owner manual update updated the OS

This update is a significantly newer os file. It’s the newest I’ve seen

from others I know they have a version very close to this installed and it’s pretty good. I believe they said it fixes a lot of the goofy issues they had previously

Im stuck with APIM NL1T-14D358-FB, tried to update it twice and it failed with usb error code 0.
Any idea how to solve this?

PAE did add the branches for the comms to add the 1.3 funtions

Also the New APIM update that was released.. It seems to be nice so far. I went to the truck this morning and the APIM boots up very fast. No delay in the maps anymore. Seems to be a way better build

Obviously its early but it seems better

No.. Ford is doing some whacky stuff right now.

22s have a Gateway update. Well now a second one.

21s have an APIM update but this update replaces CM and CY but some 21,22, and 23s saw CY already so this update may migrate soon.


23 Power Boost have a gateway update that adds 1.3 ability

As of now that is what I have seen.

Hi Jesse-
I just did the new APIM and this is what my screen looks like now.
Did a reboot of the system a few times and it still looks this way…
Any ideas?

Disregard I fixed it.
For some reason it set the Unreal engine to 0000. Changed it back to 0001 and it’s back to normal.
