You do NOT need the

XX1X XXXX XXXX

again sorry o should have double checked it I had Livnitup test and he said he didn’t need the 1. I swore I did.

It's crazy times we're in. It used to be, you bought a vehicle and you were stuck with what you bought. With all the new updates, added features and customization after the purchase is just awesome.

I say that after fighting months to get the advertised Blue Cruise working but nonetheless.

Is this 4 added to whatever value is currently in the second position, or is it just 4 and you’re good? Or is 0 in everybody’s second position, so it doesn’t matter?

It took 7000 posts for the moment to finally arrive where Ford is getting Kudos!

I've ranted with the best of them, so I'm not disparaging ANYONE, but Ford had the gonads to be very ambitious with this whole concept of continuous development and OTA delivery of it. They've definitely gotten in over their heads from historical appearances, but if we witness them actually update a Job1 2021 via OTA, to the current state of trucks coming off the assembly line simultaneously?

I'm going to hold out and wait for the OTA. As much as I would like to install this right now, I really want to wait and see if Ford has finally got their sh!t together with OTA and is able to pull this off without my intervention.
I hope I'm not setting myself up for a huge disappointment, but i really want to see if this works as Ford advertised. If not, I'll be back here in a week or two with my tail between my legs looking for help from all of you. Thanks in advance everyone!

Does anybody else that has updated having cameras at speed issues? When you pick rear view the button on the screen disappears and you cant select bed view or hitch view

24hrs after I did the update Alexa finally graced me with her presence.
so for those that do the update and it doesn’t show up be patient. I went through the pain shaken process of doing the master reset several times.It probably was a good thing to clear out the module after that update but be prepared to reset a lot.

Can Alexa and Siri coexist? I use Siri and CarPlay but might give Alexa a try if it doesn't cancel out Siri. What happens with you long hold the voice button on the steering wheel? Will I still get Siri? Is Alexa contacted a different way? Just by voice?

I think Alexa would just play deaf if you talk to Siri.
And Alexa has no clue about any button on the steering wheel. She just hides quietly waiting for her name to be mentioned.
