Something I've noticed after doing all the updates is that my truck is experiencing much better MPG...like a huge improvement.

Like a 2 - 3 MPG improvement.

Mine was a job 1 Powerboost...did the BECM or any other electrical related update have any kind of improvements built in? Would we have a way of knowing?

I've been driving this truck for 25,000 miles, and I've never gotten as good as MPG from Austin to Dallas, Austin to Waco, and other trips. I'd see 20 - 22...now I'm clearing 23 easily and have seen even 25.

I don't know if this is a result of these updates or other factors, but man it really feels like the updates had some effect.

I hope you are right. I just got my grayed out OTA button fixed last Tuesday. I've gotten 3 OTA updates since then and it is up to 2.6.0. A couple more MPG would be great.

am i supposed to do something to a sync setting, or pull a fuse for wipers when doing an IPC update? my courtesy wiper goes off every 23 seconds. did this last time too. i had to run a hose over the truck and trickle down the windshield to save the blades a little last time.

I didn't know it did that on the IPC...I just did the DSM on my Mach-E last week and it did that. I just put the hood down gently on the top of the prologix powersupply and lifted the arms up so they were off the windshield and waving around.

that's perfect, thanks. 470 dry swipes over 3 hours in the sun could kill those blades.

Yes, as exciting as module updates that enhance features can be, any pcm update gets my attention.
I've enjoyed the "polish" that Ford continues to apply to the complex Powerboost engine management.

I had the same issue it might be a very simple fix. There is a setting for smart wipers mine got reset to off during an update or reset somewhere. Turned it back on in settings and all was good.

I had it into the dealer yesterday for some issues. They were doing some updates where one large one failed, tried it again and it went through (99,000+ steps). There are some more updates to be completed and they kept the truck to finish up Monday. Can someone have a look when they have a little time. Very curious as to what is happening/done to my truck.
Thanks
