No, The dsm has the Memory seats, Power pedals, power Column and the Power Running boards if you have them. It also controls the heated and cooled seats for the front. So its best practice witht he DSM to run it. That is the re calibration for the steps and it will also verify functionality of the other things.

I still need to get another license and run that self test. My running boards have been acting up ever since I updated everything to get Bluecruise.

I think you can run the module self tests with Forscan as well.

Anthony..could you check what module updates are outstanding on my truck as it goes in tomorrow to the dealer? I have had 3 updates since it was last checked and wonder what is outstanding. Maybe I can get them to do some updates.

I have not found a good DFW dealer, and sounds like you are in the same boat. There is one under construction near me and several neighbors and I have our fingers crossed that they will be decent whenever they open. If you happen to find a good one, let me know.

yeah, this was rockwall. they took it back and said they solved the module recovery csp. i'll see if that disappears. kinda wishing i woulda mentioned the IPC update and had them do that.

yeah, i'll keep you posted. they weren't bad, they just weren't great i guess. i hate dealerships in general. my approval takes a lot. guess i'm hard to please. but they seemed to be bare minimum kinds of guys. probably the rule. i'm looking for the exception before i let them touch my junk.
