For the lane centering I put one hand on the spoke at 3 or 9 and rarely get any warnings. Just the weight of your hand is enough pressure to prevent the warnings and it won't wonder.
Just got it today. Same here, first update in over a year, except for the Blue Cruise updated map for a truck that isn't B/C capable. Strange part, first time getting out of the truck after the update, Turned it off as normal, went into ACC mode, opened the door and it shut down as normal, then...
I just tried it. It took a bit to get working. I finally figured out it only works if you have your phone plugged in with the USB cable and disable the wireless connection. You also have to open the app on the phone for the truck to see it.
I just got the email. OnXhunt maps are now available with both Andriod Auto and Carplay. They have had the Offroad maps available but not the hunt map until now. It also said navigation will be added soon.
Years ago they went to much thinner glass for all the windows. I read an article that said they did it to reduce weight and help meet EPA CAFE standards. I can't remember the numbers they stated but the weight saved was crazy, 200 or 300 pounds depending on the vehicle.
Not always true, my truck had that same issue. Dealer #1 couldn't repair and said it needed a new APIM, took it to dealer #2 and they fixed it in 90 minutes without putting a new APIM in it. I think if you have a skilled tech it makes a difference.
1. Auto hold
2 Rear seat warning
3. Collision warning(In town my truck likes to brake even after a car has completed a turn, too sensitive).
4 Welcome lighting.(I hate when it keeps activating everytime I get near it working in the yard, ect.)
Just got it today. Hope it does what it says, my truck has been stuck at 4.2.4 since January. People have been getting this update for a couple weeks. Has anyone who got it and is behind gotten additional updates since this update?
The manual just says to pull it out towards you. You have to pull it out then lift it up towards the steering wheel to lock it it the disengaged position.
Has anyone seen this update? No number as far as I can tell. My truck is one of the 2021 Job one trucks that had the OTA problem that locked OTA's out. I got it fixed in June 2022. I got a fair number of updates the next couple months, then they slowed down. My last update was 4.2.4 in January...
