For ‘21 XLT 302a trucks with 5.0l 8” cluster, there is a new GWM update which then leads to a new APIM. Loading new APIM now.

After comments I've seen on the forums regarding that adapter I personally would not use or recommend it due to the alleged issues it causes with data corruption. I know the Mongoose costs more, but if the end result is a borked module update how much have you saved?

That's just my opinion.

So after months and months of waiting for the dealer to do something....anything. I'm finally Bluecrusin thanks to this guide! Much appreciated.



Quick curious question, according to FDRS I have no updates and I'm obviously up to BC but I still have no cameras at speed or the side panel camera. Anything I can do to fix that?

That's odd. If you have no more updates available you should have cameras at speed and the bed camera in the sidecard on Sync screen.

Are you sure that you don't have any DTC's currently?

I went out in the garage to go check, cranked the truck grabbed the laptop and cables etc. while it was booting up I flipped through the side card and well there it was. Not sure why it didn't pop up initially but I won't complain lol.

Feels good to be done....until the next time Ford screws something up! lol

The APIM needs at least one power cycle/reboot, sometimes two, to display any changes. Not sure why it is like that when other modules are not, but that's what I've seen. If I make a change to it with ForScan, I always do the module reset procedure after to force it to restart to help speed up the process.

I've had 1 OTA since updating to BC, so I'm curious how well the OTAs are keeping up.

i can only check FDRS for updates pending not the OTA stuff in PTS. you don't have anything listed besides GSM (which should clear now).
