I just finished the newest apim to get sync 25094, then after that updated an instrument cluster update popped up. I also had a pcm update in there I did.

After I updated the cluster it just kept beeping with a black screen and fail when FDRS verified the versions. I had to unhook the battery and reconnect for it to fully reboot. Then FDRS did its thing and all is good.
Seems to be a trend on the latest IPC install after it seems to have updated. That sounds a lot like what mine did a few dozen posts ago.

So I keep getting a code for the rain sensor, but I don’t have the auto wipers. Anyway to get rid of this?

Try clearing codes and then running a self-test on the SCCM. Did you make any FORScan changes to the SCCM?

It’s been there since I’ve owned the truck. I’ve tried clearing and it was there before I ever did any forscan changes. It just won’t go away.

If you don't have any problems, then I would ignore it. According to your ab data, you have a 09 here in the SCCM which means rain sensing is disabled:

The only thing I see in the SCCM that has to do with this the rain sensor is here, but it does show what the value there does on the spreadsheet. You show a 5 there now and my truck shows a 7. You can try writing a 0 there as a test to see if that means no rain sensor is there and it clears the code. If it doesn't work, put it back to whatever is there now.

Thank you,

I’ll try that tomorrow and see if it clears out. It doesn’t cause issue, just a soft code.

Just responded to your message. No CCM showing, but the CMR might also trigger the long IPMA update. CMR itself will take 45-60 minutes, so you may want to leave the CMR, IPMA and PSCM for tomorrow if you don't want to pull a late night update session.

Does anyone know what the HVAC module update does? My AC works well and I dont want to install this if this is the update that Ford is doing to address the freezing systems.

Pretty sure that's what it does. My a/c works just as good now as it did before I updated it, though.

FYI thanks for the assist with BC Lane change, all working! I did not change 706-01-01 to your suggestion "E", I left it "A" and all appears to be working!

No dice. Still showing the rain sensor issue.

Damn.....idk, man. You may want to post on the FORScan specific thread to see if any of the guys that follow that thread can help.
