getting this error also once connected to the vehicle, but

the self check still works

I hooked up the VCM3 to see if it made a difference but the same error come up and go's away if you click ok.. looks like another ford software issue.

I just updated my APIM with FDRS version 45.5.2 with no connection errors. seemed to work fine. I am on my 10 minute wait countdown.

Thanks. Looks like ‘21 PB’s have a significantly different strategy for the PCM. The newest one I’ve seen in the last couple of days is -VKK.

I updated my '21 Powerboost yesterday and the PCM went from -VGJ to -VGK. Is there a list of latest versions and changelog? Curious if even within the 21s there are slightly different variants floating around.

My ‘21 PB made the same jump to -VGK when I updated a couple of weeks ago. I’m not aware of any changelog or list of latest versions for each module.

Figured as much ....about 2.5 hrs in....lol on a buddies truck.

Went and did the whole yard with the trimmer.

MY IPMA was a multi module update and rolled into the PSCM on completion of the IPMA, The PSCM will only take a few minutes.

Both are done now onto his 9 more to go

I just finished the newest apim to get sync 25094, then after that updated an instrument cluster update popped up. I also had a pcm update in there I did.

After I updated the cluster it just kept beeping with a black screen and fail when FDRS verified the versions. I had to unhook the battery and reconnect for it to fully reboot. Then FDRS did its thing and all is good.
