2024, no difference between the two, and the eco mode makes the gas peddle ridiculously unresponsive.
I also tried the Eco mode. The only thing I noticed was at highway speed and using cruise control, the cruise was not allowed to "hit the gas" nearly as hard which slowed-down accelleration.

21' 5.0 - almost zero gain in mpg when in ECO, and I am talking about 400-500 mile trips. ECO feels more sluggish in terms of engine/power response. The good thing about ECO and the reason I often use it on long drives is the significantly smoother down/up shift.

I run in tow/haul all the time and even then I can't measure a difference in mpg. Tow/haul will keep the rpm more in the 2000 range vs normal which will do stupid things like be in 8th gear at 40 mph with the engine at 1200 and struggling. The 2.7 really likes 2000 rpm vs. the normal shift mapping for around town driving.

Hybrid mode?
The PowerBoost is either electric only or hybrid drive.
Sport and Tow/Haul use electric only when stopped. They maximize hybrid operation.
Eco maximizes electric only operation and minimizes ICE operation.

Eco is more eager to come out of hybrid mode and go into electric mode.
Good clarification. "Electric-only" mode....not "hybrid mode" as I incorrectly stated.

I also find that eco mode and normal are about the same in terms of mpg. Very slightly better in eco sometimes. It does drop into electric mode earlier in eco mode, including when coasting or downhills. I ran the West Virginia route to Florida last winter and the thing stayed in electric mode for miles and miles on those long hills. But it was sure sucking gas on turbo boost on the uphills. Lots of power in reserve though even on the uphills. I love driving this thing on long road trips.

I am gentle on the go pedal and on the fwy I rarely go ove 70 so that may be why I exhibit better MPG>

I just found this feature the other day. I'm driving in the snow and wanted to try out the four wheel high. I'm hittin' knobs and pushin' buttons and all the sudden my screen turns green... Im like, "Crap!!". What did I screw-up now? I finally put my damn reading glasses on.
I've been running in "leaf mode" for a week now and it doesn't seem to help the MPG but it does keep me from spinning my tires when taking off on greasy roads.

I am having a hard time figuring how to get my 2021 PB 3.5 into normal. Anyone know how to change it

It doesn't change Driver's Select Mode when you turn the DSM dial?

I ran a 300-mile trip one way in eco and the return in normal. I did not notice a improvement in MPG, the feel in the over driving experience was better in normal. That was two years ago and I have never used it since.

That is correct! That is the main thing you will notice. 2024 3.5 EcoBoost here first thing I do is turn off A/S and put in eco mode. My 2018 F150 with 5.0 would shift considerably smoother in eco.
