I ran a 300-mile trip one way in eco and the return in normal. I did not notice a improvement in MPG, the feel in the over driving experience was better in normal. That was two years ago and I have never used it since.
I have a Curt on my truck. While it hangs lower than I would like, it is really 1 1/2 inches below the plastic air dam. I do have a 2" front level on the truck and have not had a problem with clearance. That said I do not do any hard core off roading, mainly ride on the beach.
I have run the Wildpeaks on two different Jeeps very happy with the results. Got over 70K on the Gladiator, still looked good when I traded it. Yes, they are heavy, but a great tire. On the short list to replace the Goodyears on my truck.
I have to agree with you, I went to drop off my truck to have warranty work done and while looking around the lot a salesman ask if I wanted to drive a 25 I was looking at. Same truck as my 23 but a 25. Made me a fairly good offer, but no payment is a powerful incentive in my book.
Enjoy the new truck. I used a F250 as my daily driver for 20 years. When I was looking if I could have found one equipped like I wanted I would have bought it.
I have a Hitch-hall that I bought 10 years ago to use with my Jeep. They are handy and do expand your capacity, I normally carry a cooler and storage tub on my carrier. While pricy the Pakmule looks like a very well made unite.
I replaced the stock mirrors with tow mirrors and I have not noticed any difference in gas mileage. Lot better visibility while towing my boat. Makes backing a lot easier.
I never thought of that issue. I have the NOCO GB50 stored in the plastic storage box that NOCO sells. I don't really know if most containment bags would really help. Lithium fires are really intense and hard to extinguish.
I have a NOCO 10 that is my primary maintainer; however last time I got the low battery message I used the NOCO 5 that I use for mowers and it worked fine. If the battery is very low it will take more time but it raised my charge overnight to full charge,
