I was looking at batteries the other day. I could not find any at the home improvement store where I was labeled "H8." I guess I am a specifications person. Is H8 the physical size of the battery and the "Group 49" the electrical capacity rating of it?

I also tried the Eco mode. The only thing I noticed was at highway speed and using cruise control, the cruise was not allowed to "hit the gas" nearly as hard which slowed-down accelleration.

Many of us experience the issue every time we start the vehicle. The quality and longevity of Ford's batteries is in question, and it is possible they just cut corners by equipping the truck with a battery of questionable quality and too smallcapacity just to get them out the door.

The problem is that the technicians are "working for scraps off the diningroom table." If Ford or brand XYZ is guaranteeing (waranteeing) a product Ford should have the majority of say in how, when and what is done to that product, not some hayseed with a name tag that says "Service Manager."...
