Auto Climate Control Upfit to a STX

Hey everyone!

I have added dual auto climate control to my 23 STX, but I keep getting code B11E6 in the HVAC module. This code is for the Right HVAC Damper Poistion Sensor Short to Battery or Open. I am assuming it is due to it not being there so I just need to code it out. I know the passenger side is for looks only and doesn't change anything. Everything else seems to work, the screen shows the temperature overlays and fan speed. Looking to see what in FORSCAN needs to change. TIA

Wanting to do this to my '24 STX as the rubber knobs bug the shit out of me. Assuming the 21-23 modules work? I don't need the digital read out.

I ordered one from eBay. Installed and it works fine. From a 2021 F-150. Love having the chrome dials and the readouts. Did some changes with Forscan to enable fan and temperature repeaters on screen. 2024 F-250 XLT.

I'll bite! Did yours already have dual zone? The STX does not which is why I'm assuming I'll throw some code without some coding. The rubber knobs looks really cheap. I did Katzkin leather throughout so looking to match everything a little better.

Nope, just single zone. It does have codes in the HVAC when you pull them, all for the passenger side thats missing. It doesn't affect anything though.

There is no way around the code.


You can set it to single zone in forscan and it will turn off the temp display in the right knob so it does not get changed by mistake. All other AUTO functions work fine.

Anyone try this in a XL/STX as well or will I be the first tester? Just picked up some power heated seats and having the factory buttons work would be great.

Sorry for the delay in response. I have one code in the HVAC module. I have it set so both sides display. I thought it looked weird with one displaying and I just leave it on sync.
