2024 XL Auto Climate Control

Hey y'all, I have a 2024 RCSB and my only gripe is that it doesn't have auto climate control. I do not care for dual zone, just rather have the AC do it's thing to maintain a temp instead of me having to mess with it all the time. I feel like goldilocks.

I'd also love if with remote start it would also turn on the heat. Something I am finding I am forgetting to do when turning off the truck the night before.

Doing some research it looks like I would need to utilize either this module ML3Z-19980-F (heated seats) or this module ML3Z-19980-E (without heated seats). I would eventually like to add heated seats so I think having that module would be best. However, would getting either of these modules be a simple plug in and get auto climate? Again, not worried about dual climate control and since the gauge displays the temp, I don't want to mess with Forscan to add it to the large screen.

My understanding is it's not that simple. The 2024 seem to have a different ie stripped down harness and there have not been a ton of guys digging into it.

Good luck, I'm in the same boat as you i have the parts just haven't worked thru the harnesses.

My 2023 XL allows me to adjust the remote start climate to auto. I have all manual climate controls. I run into the same issue of having cold air on when I park the truck and wanting warm air when I remote start next morning. The setting is in the truck, not on the Ford Pass app. Hope that also works for the 2024s.

I just checked my 24 XL today and it does have the setting for remote start auto climate control. You can set it to auto or keep last setting.
Go to the settings tab in the Sync screen and tap on Vehicle and you’ll see it there.

Unfortunately this doesn't work on the manual HVAC module in the XLs.

Not sure about the 24's but this works on my 22.
