Considering these photos were likely taken long before I was born, something about them warms my cold, dead heart. A single cab pickup with a dog in the back, in that sepia tone, just seems like heaven to me.
Yes I have looked in to that, the official Canadian distributor for Bilstein has their warehouse not far from me. However they don’t sell the 6112s fully assembled so I’d have to pay to have them installed, unlike the FP kit I can do myself.
Anybody know if Ford ever offers promotional pricing on the performance parts in Canada? I’ve seen offers in the past but they didn’t seem to be available to Canadian residents.
Looking at purchasing M-18000-F15BA. My dealer quoted me 2700 for the kit plus 200 freight charge. Online vendors are...
Did you do the install yourself? I'm going to pull the trigger on front/rear Bilsteins soon, likely going with the Ford Performance kit as well. Just curious since some of the install videos I've watched they remove the axle nut but others don't.
Not that I know of. The center console is made up of many components and trim pieces, each with a different part number. Ford does not offer them as complete units. Your best bet is to browse local auto wreckers or eBay/marketplace for one.
Press the menu button on the steering wheel and scroll down to the “off road” pages. The compass will be there. As far as I know it’s not an option to add to My View
I suppose that’s true, I forgot they also disable traction control which otherwise sucks holding the button down.
FWIW my RCSB has mud/ruts and rock crawl modes. Must be tied to the FX4 package.
Forgive me if I’m wrong, but I believe those off road drive modes don’t do much other than activate things like 4H/4L and lockers. They’re not like on road drive modes (sport, eco, tow/haul) which are capable of changing throttle response and shift points.
Having previously owned a Bronco, I...
Upper glove box standard on all trims.
Also, give me the option to order a truck without all the copilot stuff. I’d rather not even have it installed if I had a choice. The only setting I keep active is the BLIS since you lose the little blind spot mirrors which I still prefer over the light.
I like it. Have yet to see it in person though. Looks more akin to Lightning blue.
What I really want to see is Velocity, Lightning, Atlas and Argon all beside one another.
I don’t think you’d necessarily lose any functionality of the 12” dash cluster over the 4” with analog gauges. With the digital you can choose to see actual readouts of things like oil and coolant temp rather than a basic “dummy” gauge.
12” center display is probably the same as before, just...
Good eye, I only skimmed through it and didn’t see those changes to XL. Going back to 4” cluster display is a huge downgrade from the 24-25 full digital dash.
I bet they stripped it down just to be able to advertise a lower “starting at” price.
Reminds me when I was at the dealership signing the lease for my 2018 F150. The finance guy said before I give you the keys to your new truck, are you well versed in the art of “no”?
I asked what he meant, said he’d test me. Then proceeded to ask “hey, I’m moving this weekend, can you help?”...
Looks like the clip for the front carpet retention post. Look under the pedals towards the front edge of the carpet, there should be a small hole there. That coincides with a stud coming off the floorpan. The clip you have screws on to the stud to secure the carpet.
