Good luck on that. Printing nylon is a PIA. The couple times I tried printing with nylon it didn't end well. It's a small part so hopefully you will be able to print it with no issues.

On a side note the annealed PETG has help up very well. No warping or deformation at all with 95+ degree days.

Some of you guys really need to just relax. I was just busting balls. I put a laughing emoji. Nobody can just laugh anymore.

The fact that these idiots left the latch without a proper pull mechanism is one thing. The fact that, once you pulled the seat back down you need to guess where the stupid horizontal bar on the receiving latch should be in order for the seat back to lock is an outrage on its own.

There is a trick to that.

1)When the seat back is down...move the bar to the center of the latch
2) Raise the seat back up...but not trying to latch
3) Then raise seat bottom...and lower it..this repositions the bar
4) Then lower seat back down....and lightly slam it up

Works like a charm

I'll try that but this is a ridiculous "procedure".
I found the right spot, the bar should be around the top line on the bracket (there are two lines about 2" apart). Still, there should be no reason for Ford engineers to expect us to guess. A clear marking on the bracket would be nice and logical.

You mean slamming it closed several times, with each attempt getting more forceful is NOT the right way to treat that latch? :D
