2024 5.0l E85 Yes Or No?

I've read a few threads, but haven't seen an official answer.

Can the 2024 5.0l run E85?

Owners manual says no. Some have said the manual is wrong and they loaded in 3.5l info.

The Tech Spec from Ford's website says yes.

My gas door doesn't have a sticker that says yes, or no.

Has anyone successfully run E85 on their MY24 without any hiccups, check engine lights, or poor performance?

Has anyone contacted Ford and been given an answer?

Its no. Someone tried and clearly truck did not adjust for it. Also on the window sticker it does not mention flex fuel anymore anywhere, no e85 sticker etc etc.

The window sticker should also specifically list "flex fuel vehicle" at the bottom of "Optional Equipment/Other"

My guess would be the 2023 sticker is for a 4X2 whereas the 2024 is a 4X4

E85 is awesome, especially with our high compression ratio.

2024 is E15 max ethanol blend. You can find that in your owner's manual.

Do not use:
• Diesel fuel.
• Fuels containing kerosene or paraffin.
• Fuel containing more than 15% ethanol
or E85 fuel.
• Fuels containing methanol.
• Fuels containing metallic-based
additives, including manganese-based
compounds.

For best overall vehicle and engine
performance, premium fuel with an octane
rating of 91 or higher is recommended. The
performance gained by using premium fuel
is most noticeable in hot weather as well
as other conditions, for example when
towing a trailer.
