Went to get my H6 Motorcraft battery replaced with the H8 battery. The shelf was empty. I said to the guy a few days ago your web site said you had them in stock at this store but I guess you ran out or the site was incorrect. He said let me look in the back. When he returned he said they didn't...
We first lost Albert and now we've lost Chip the 2 best salesmen I've ever dealt with. I never got to meet either of them in person but with the many emails and few phone calls I had with both men, I felt they were more like a friend than a salesperson.
My condolences to the Giles and Granger...
I for 1 agree with you. Whoever thinks Granger is going to come on here and discuss this in detail I think is going to be dissapointed. They may do it after all this is over but this is just not the place for them to discuss it Yes we'd all like to know how it is handled but until it's resolved...
Ya there's no excuse for letting it go out. I'm no expert but what gets me is I'm pretty sure the robots use cameras & lasers to measure & see where to paint in addition to what is programmed so I would think if there's something out of tolerance it would stop but apparently the program is...
Oh well there goes my theory.
I've read most of the posts in this thread and I'm sorry that Ford even sent that truck out. It should have never left the factory. What I don't understand is most if not all of the paint issues shouldn't have even happened. It's done by robots so the programming...
I'm curious if these trucks were built in Claycomo (commonly known as KC) or Dearborn. Obviously it could happen at either, even both plants but if this old memory of mine serves correctly, KC has a bit of a reputation for poor quality paint jobs in the past.
I'm sure others can ring in with better info than me but when mine was shipped from Dearborn to the KC transport center mine never showed on the Jack Cooper site. Since you are in WA your truck will be loaded on a railcar and transported to whichever railyard handles vehicles for WA. Mine went...
The first time I had the "Works" the dealership I go to wanted just under $200 after adding the extra oil , shop fees, etc. for full synthetic. I said wait a minute doesn't my ESP cover that? I have the full synthetic option. He looked it up in the system and says Oh Yeah okay you owe 0. I don't...
Yep, when I first read it I was seeing 2024 and thinking how did they get 550,000 2024's out already? Afterwards I read it over 2 more times and realized it was 2014 so I made an adjustment after I posted. ?
EDIT: 2014 MY
DETROIT (AP) — Ford is recalling more than 550,000 pickup trucks in the U.S. because the transmissions can unexpectedly downshift to first gear no matter how fast the trucks are going.
The recall covers certain F-150 pickups from the 2014 model year. Ford’s F-Series pickups are...
