what I stated is still true, there isn't an inline ethanol sensor like a GM. It's just logic in the PCM. I have no desire to ever run 87 so I didn't ask for a tune with 87 octane support. I know OZ has a single tune covering everything and e40 is about the break point. I'm not mixing fuels so whatever comes out of the ethanol pump is what I'm running, which has been perfectly fine. And I would not run the stock fuel system on a boosted 5.0 regardless of how much you "can" or whats been proven. Upgrading the fuel pump hat, lines, rails and PI side injectors is the most effective way to do it. Which is why majority of people do that and then just run e85, which IS beneficial in boosted applications.Actually there are a few tuners offering N/A flex fuel tunes on e85, but it’s unnecessary if a good tuner know show to adjust the logic. OZ offers 1 tune for all fuel with max timing being about 34 degrees under WOT. Stock, max timing is around 28. I can achieve these numbers around e35, depending on the quality of the ethanol. Too much octane you actually start loosing power. OX has shown you can run e30 safely on boosted applications with the stock fueling system. Anything more needs a upgraded HPFP.
