I run top tier 93. id probably run e85 if the closest station wasn't an hour away.

I'm from Kuwait (Middle East) I use 91 (RON octane) which is equivalent to 87 in USA (RON+MON/2) my truck is 2021 with 60K miles without any issues.

FYI Kuwait is the hottest county in the world. Shade temperature reaches 125F in the shade and 170-180F under direct sun.

In my opinion, you are wasting your money if you're fueling your car with more octane since it will not improve the performance.
Except that our gen 4 5.0's gain about 30 rwhp when using 93 vs 87 without a tune.

I think e85 squeezes even a little more out of the tables. 😊

I picked e85 because it’s the best shot you Coyotes have of keeping up with me without spending $10k .

Cmon noisy! Put your foot in it! We want to get there sometime today! 😉
It will be the Ford F-150 with the 5.0 that passes you when that over complicated and portly herky jerky electric thing with a turbo 6-pot breaks down. 😘

We will need to revive that old acronym:

Road
Dead.

Dont forget the AAA membership because you’re going to need it. 😗

Touché 😊

But I did get you to admit I’d have to brake down for you to pass. 😉

Lol, good one! but then I would say two against one (elec + turbo gas) is needed to take down the old man 5.0. 😉

Cant wait to see what Fords next iteration of these powertrains will look like. Still love my V8 and when Ford improves the reliability of that electric assisted and boosted V6, then I might consider it. Technology is great when it works as it is supposed to!

I took a 100 mile round trip to see Dakar09 Ford Galaxy and try out the Banks pedal monster which was awesome. During that trip I set the cruise at 72 mph for I-290, I-495, and I-90 (about 40 miles) and 62 mph on route 128 which was about more 10 miles worth of the 50 miles one way. The mph display was telling me I got 27 mpg at the end of that 50 mile trip and then finished at 25.2 mpg when I rolled into my driveway which includes a big long gas mileage killing hill near my house. 😁. Not bad for a big V8 truck. I could see the tachometer jump a little every time the cylinder deactivation went from 4 cyl mode to all 8 cylinders on the highway usually just as it started to go up an incline.
