2021 Owners - What is your OTA Version?

I've got devices across the spectrum, from cameras to radios to marine chartplotters to barbecue pit monitors. They all get regular or occasional software updates. The manufacturers make it easy for the end user do the updates FOR FREE. I'm not buying a $500 cable, a laptop, and an expensive short term software license to install the software updates that Ford trumpets about all the time and should be free to install for owners that want them, especially given the dealers won't do them.

I've built PCs for years, hacked radios, and built my own devices to automate all kinds of things. I'm not scared of this. But I'm done with it, it's not fun for me anymore. Just make getting the damn updates easy for us.

Got 4.3.2 two days ago and it reset my view and the two center gauges prefs. Got alert that 4.3.3 is going in tonight.

Same here. Expecting 4.3.4 on Saturday or Sunday if this pattern continues

The last numbered update I received on my Job 1 truck was 6.1.0. I have received several updates since then, the PCM update and the trailer/ license plate light update most recently.

Just FYI every OTA will reset those things. It's annoying, but such is the process. More fun when you have a Canadian truck like mine it resets back to KM too.

At least you are getting OTA now. Ford doesn't have to bother sending updates to our 21 trucks especially updates that old. I'm glad to see they are being sent out still.

Hoping some of us are starting to see some OTA love... I'm very hesitant to subscribe to BlueCruise if I'm never going to get any continued updates.

Rolled off the lot 2/10/21 and hasn't been listed since Nov. of that year. I gave up on caring since. The members who have invested a lot of $$$, time, and effort to help out all say I need to go to my dealer and have them "diagnose" the problem. I don't feel it's my time and money that should be put aside for it. My truck been operating satisfactory thes past 3 years and almost 69k miles. This is one useless feature that Ford done f**ked up.

Curious if you got anything after 4.3.3? Nothing since here, but I was camping off the grid Saturday and Sunday. Not sure what happens if a vehicle doesn't reply to the mothership when an OTA sent....

Once you have an active OTA pending it will stick around for a month or more before it expires. If you drive to civilization occasionally you'll get updates just fine if no other factors are in the way like low battery.

I got this yesterday too, for the SECOND TIME though ?‍ First time was in early April to kick off this barrage of OTAs. Go home mothership, you're drunk

Most likely not for the second time. There is RBS and RBS2 which are two different OTA's.

After getting my truck up to date with FDRS a few weeks ago, I had a OTA PCM update fail a couple weeks ago because of a 12v low SOC. After charging the battery, deleting some DTC's and resetting the BMS, I got my first OTA about 20 mins ago! 23-PU1113-UNX-DC
