2021 Owners - What is your OTA Version?

If you are a member of the forum and you spend $50 to license FDRS, just to see what is available for your VIN, surely you go ahead and clear the slate on updates at the same time?

If so, you technically didn't waste $50

But not asking first is an unnecessary gamble, since Rugedraw is as reliable as the sunrise.

I am going to have to look at this as well as I have a 2021 XLT 302A I just purchased that seems to be very behind on updates. Currently I have Sync 4 version 23159.

Hoping I can find a Mongoose cable to borrow locally and maybe get this updated.

Honestly, a used 2021 running 23159 is actually a relief, in my opinion. Your truck is far beyond the infamous 2021 APIM Purgatory status. So you shouldn't be too concerned about pulling your hair out getting the truck fully updated with FDRS.

My 2021 3.5EB Lariat is having SYNC4 version 23159 Revision915.
However, my tailgate is not working as it was before, the remote control used to click button twice and it open, now, it only works sometime.
Most of the time if the truck was parked and locked after some minutes, double click remote control button will not open the gate, it just blink signal lights, and it won't open the tail gate.

I brought it to dealer before 3 years 60,000 Kilometers warranty, and dealer did upgrade software, but it didn't fix the remote control issue, instead it is even worse when I push the button on tailgate, now I have to push the button twice before the tailgate open. Dealer can not reproduce the issue because remote control works fine with tail gate if the truck was just turned off, they don't want to wait and check later, they said nothing they can do and that is normal. Heck!

So anyone has idea what is wrong with my software update?

24127 is the latest version, but Ford has not released it for all VINs yet. So, even with FDRS, you cannot fully update it until Ford releases it for you. No idea why they do things this way, but it is what it is.

After not having an OTA update years, finally got 6.4.0.
