OTA Updates on version 6.4.0

I have a 3021 F150 Platty and just got OTA 6.4.0 and Priority Update - Connectivity

ECG-24.2.4.10.1
When should I expect to get the OTA version 7.0 which has the BC update to either 1.3 or 1.4 or newer.
I have my truck for 4 years and I’m not sure if I’m getting enough updates.
Ford Over the air updates said they release the OTA randomly

I also received update ECG-24.2.4.10.1 on my 21 Lariat PowerBoost today.
I don’t have BC on my truck so no experience with these updates..

Weird.. No updates in forever, then the update gate has opened.
Since July 1, 2025 I have received 6.2.0, 6.3.0, 6.4.0, and ECG-24.2.4.10.1

I got the 6.X.0 updates in rapid succession. Then ECG-24.2.5.6.1 was my last update back in September.

I also got 6.4.0 last week and ECG-24.2.4.10.1 today. Last time I got updates before that was January.

My theory is they're trying to catch up older trucks like ours so that they can deploy the backup screen recall software fix over the air when it's ready. I suspect it will require updated versions of other modules so trying to catch everything up now makes sense. I assume they really want to avoid having hundreds of thousands of cars needing to go to the dealership for lengthy FDRS software updates if at all possible. Maybe that was finally a motivation to get the software updates rolling.

What you said is exactly what I was thinking too.
It makes a lot of sense that they will roll out more updates for the older cars , so that people won’t go to the dealer for the camera issue.
