I got this same error today. I updated the GWM using the same USB. But when I tried to update the apim I'm getting that error. I've tried reformatting the USB and using a different USB and I keep getting that error. I've used that same USB to bring my truck back from the world of the unknown...
After getting my truck up to date with FDRS a few weeks ago, I had a OTA PCM update fail a couple weeks ago because of a 12v low SOC. After charging the battery, deleting some DTC's and resetting the BMS, I got my first OTA about 20 mins ago! 23-PU1113-UNX-DC
Well after 5 long days of updating, I've finally got my truck all up to date and bluecruise active! Thanks to @Big Dog Daddy @Jesse-Infotainment @rugedraw and everybody else that helped me and others get thru this process. 14 SW updates in FDRS turned in to about 43 updates total!
ok so your saying it's the Apim that's keeping this from going thru...? I haven't seen anybody else with this issue, That's why I was trying it do the repair. I had seen a video where somebody did the module update repair and his went thru without issue.
Ok thanks.
Yes, I plug in the Ethernet cable when asked and hit ok. It goes thru and deletes the sync database, and on the next step of the GWM it tries to start then the bar just flashes a few time and I get the time out message
Has anybody ran into a issue where the GWM times out during the Module Update Repair? I've tried a few times with the same results. Not sure what else to try to get passed this. this is for april 2021 build Platinum. Vin#1FTFW1E85MFB40478 thanks for any help!
After reading the thread, I'm hoping for the same success as you. I just picked up a new to me 21 platinum that has the blue cruise campaign, a long list of modules that need updating, automatic update button greyed out. I'm dropping my truck off at the dealer this week...
I just picked up the truck a few days ago, and we're doing something out of the norm at work. Was just curious if it could be done. If it comes to that I'll just drop a rag over the ipc. Thanks for the suggestion
Well I'm sitting in a parking lot that's pitch black and I'd like to have the truck running to keep me warm AND not be blinded by it. Keep the good suggestion coming tho
I searched but didn't see anything about it. I'm trying to find out if you can turn off the IPC like you can the center display. When sitting in a dark place it would be nice to be able to turn it off or dim it to the point it's barely lit. Thanks.
