It doesn't care that you have auto updates turned off. It will still download every update Ford sends, it just won't install without asking. Except for the updates Ford forces on you without asking...
I still don't believe the last part. So far with updates off I've had to give permission for everything to install and permission to download first. Ford hasn't bothered to send me anything for a while to test this more.

Yeah, just venting pretending ford actually listens. Ford should adopt H&Ks internet appointed tag line
Why ford why?

I'll go kick a Chevy if that will get that Ford OTA gods to send me an OTA. ?

I've been waiting out the process expecting the updates that hit FDRS last year to be pushed out by now. I don't have time to mess with FDRS right now. Rugedraw showed I have quite a few things waiting for updates. I know I'll probably get the third door module update before getting the IPMA. ?

I don't have time to not use FDRS, once something pops up that I actually care about.

And I try to tell myself I don't care or need or want most updates these days. I'm not very convincing, it appears to me. ??

Getting close to 6 months since the cool kids started installing the new IPMA update for improved lane keeping benefits. Thought that would hit OTA by now. I don't care until I use my adaptive cruise and it tries to run into cars to the right of me. Then I'm tempted, but I don't want to give Ford $50 yet.

Mine works better, but still wants to hug the right side on occasion. That's fine if I'm in the right lane, but can make the passing lane a little iffy... I haven't done the recalibration and probably should since I leveled the truck.

But I give Ford $10 every month just so my grandkids can say "Alexa, play Fatman in a bathtub"

Obviously they only like the song because of its name and because Pawpaw acts like a fool jumping around to it.

Oh, and now that I have the Mach-E, that's $20 a month Ford squeezes me for.

Still, chumpchange after ponying up for the 2 vehicles in the first place. :)

Your OTA history does not coincide with the software level your modules are on. It seems like you or a dealer did a lot of updates on it with FDRS. Your truck is on the latest Sync version and only showing a few modules pending updates.

Updated the car late last year, I guess the OTAs are coming in slowly. Thanks for checking.

Was waiting in the drive through and figured I’d check to see if anything new had installed since 5/6. Found 23-PU1113-UNX-DC in the process of downloading. By the time I made it home and parked it had already finished and installed in the background. ?

Yes, I leveled mine and it affected it. I recommend you recalibrate the IPMA.

If you raise the front end the IPMA should be adjusted slightly. Still playing to find the sweet spot as to actual measurement vs entered value. The fender heights can be adjusted individually as well. That can make the truck believe it's closer or further away from a particular line.

Need to spend some time playing w/ the values, too busy lately.

I calibrated mine with FRDS and it specifically told me it wasn't meant to adjust for modified suspensions and to return the truck to stock height. I ignored it, measured the height of the wheel arches and entered that anyway. Worked great.

I've got mine offset 3mm right now, didn't recalibrate post change. Need a good course to determine exact behavior without traffic so speed isn't a factor (aka traffic slowing things up). I'll make a post about its behavior once I set up an outline for the testing procedures. Needs quite a few passes between playing pre-post calibration / various offsets. Haven't found anyone that's played with it yet or reported on it. Changing these variables could get it to work on narrower lanes based on how the system works. Not on the calendar right now though.

24-PU0121-FTDI-FXApr 2024Your vehicle's system now better detects when your battery's charge is low, helping maintain smooth operation and providing you with timely alerts.BCMNO6

Does this mean they finally fixed the way these trucks complain about low batteries when the battery is actually fine? My truck went a whole year where it would start complaining about "system off to save battery", and all I would do is reset the BMS every 6 weeks and otherwise never had a single issue relating to the battery being low. I finally got Ford to replace the battery, but I'm not convinced there was anything really wrong with it.

I might have some time to mess around a bit after I finish PRB. Which parameters to which variables? PM me?
