Alright looking at this work order, do you have two issues going on?
It says there is a grinding sound near the transmission/transfer case. But they also call out TSB 23s65, which includes the interim axel replacement instructions. This does not include the final remedy with the redesigned...
I’ve towed quite a bit on the original axles. We even did a 4000 mile trip last summer. The original bolts never broke, and no issues otherwise.
I received the letter from Ford in early August. Took my truck in for inspection in mid August. Parts were “expedited” late August. Parts arrived...
I’ve had a handful of issues similar to this and both times my battery SOC was very low. After charging overnight the problems went away.
FYI I also have a 2023.
1 and 3 are probably related to your 12v battery state of charge.
How do you use Waze? CarPlay, Android Auto, or is it like locally installed on your pickup? Not sure if that last option is even possible. lol
If you’ve got a non-PowerBoost, I’d suggest dropping an AGM H8 sized battery in there and doing a BMS reset. For PowerBoost, you’re limited to AGM H7 size, but from what I’ve read you may also need to replace the secondary 12v battery. I’m no PB expert though.
I have lots of FordPass points that I haven’t used so far but today I ordered two of the NOCO GB40 battery packs. Should work great for the F150 and will probably be overkill for Subaru.
I took my ‘23 in last Friday and the were able to inspect the axle and place parts on order, so I called to check for an ETA. I guess ford hasn’t responded to their orders yet, so they don’t have an ETA. However, that can prioritize orders and they offered. It’s not critical for me but I figured...
Dropped my ‘23 off today for a few minor issues. They were able to fix one and parts are on order for my tailgate step that jams and the axle recall.
I was able to take my pickup home while I wait for parts to arrive, so that’s nice.
Cool just received SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 on my ‘23 XLT. I don’t have the hardware for bluecruise, so I’ll just be happy if it improves some of the intermittent SYNC/Carplay issues.
Sure but you’ve had it for a year.
I take care of my shit too, but my ‘23 got a scratch on the rear fender near the taillight at some point in the first few weeks of ownership. It happens.
The tiny marks in the plastic aren’t something worth making a big deal about let alone throwing a fit in front of your family.
It’s a truck. Let it go.
that makes sense. Most of the 21+ F150s I see around here are XLT with the same 5” boards that mine has…or they’re a higher trim with the retracting boards.
I don’t mind it on my ‘23 5.0. It seems pretty infrequent, and the AC blows cold enough air for a bit, and by then the truck starts back up.
In my ‘18 5.0 it was super annoying. The AC didn’t blow cold for more than a moment after the engine shut off, and it didn’t restart until I took my foot...
