Is there a way to get rid of the chiming for the “no keyfob deteced” seems ford did an update recently that changed the sound of it to be even more annoying than it previously was. Ive looked through forscan and couldn’t find anything that seemed would work.

Nothing yet. It's a feature of the 6.8.0 update. Doesn't bother me it is passenger that gets to hear that noise.

True, thats the real problem it wakes the kids up every time i step out or open the tailgate.

Two questions.

Is there a way to keep the power tailgate in manual mode? Mine seems to switch back to a full power tailgate after ever truck restart.

Is there a way to disable the limit on 30 min idle permanently?

I've found one answer I've never seen in the spreadsheet but its always been there..

Disable Auto Engine Idle Shutdown of 30 mins

It's always in your settings menu on sync screen too.

That setting also resets itself after the truck turns on and off. I'd like to leave it off permanently, which this FORScan change seems to do. I'll test it first to make sure though.

I turned it off once before not realizing it turns itself back on. My dog was left in the truck on a semi warm day for about 15 mins with no conditioning because the truck turned itself off after 30 mins. A mistake on my part for assuming when I change a setting that it should stay changed. I know when I want the truck to remain running!

A very dumb decision by Ford imo. I was not a happy camper when I got back out there to a stuffy truck

The power-manual tailgate setting does the exact same thing.

Hopefully there is a way to disable the auto reset like there is to disable the 30 min max idle.

New to the Forscan world and wanting to know if the version to download is 2.3.58? I thought I saw somewhere that the newer download had some issues. Just wanting to make sure I get the correct one. Thanks in advance.

that is the newest version... i used mine the other day to program remote start on a f550 with no issues.

So after two years of ownership I decided that I hate Adaptive Cruise Control and I disabled it in Settings.
Now I get a warning every time I turn CC On - "Normal Cruise Active, Adaptive Braking Off".
OK, I get it. I can understand the warning when I actually switch Adaptive OFF in Settings, but not every time I turn CC on.
Is there a way to disable this stupid warning in Forscan, as well as (or perhaps only) the audible sound that comes with it?

Yup, just disable adaptive cruise in the IPC and no more warning. @sbi

Is there a way to disable the Reverse Brake Assist Warnings?
I turned the feature off in SYNC, but now when I start the truck I get a warning on the dash that its off.
