Is there a way to get rid of the chiming for the “no keyfob deteced” seems ford did an update recently that changed the sound of it to be even more annoying than it previously was. Ive looked through forscan and couldn’t find anything that seemed would work.

To the standard 12v battery under the hood. Not sure if tying into that interferes with anything else related to the hybrid system. I know these trucks can be a bit temperamental when it comes to the sensors and voltage changes. Was planning on a 12k lb winch.

Sounds complicated. Also not too sure if 3000lb winch will even move these trucks, even with the snatch block doubling it. Had my truck stuck in mud up to the chassis and it took 2 wranglers with 2 winches to get me out. And they almost couldn’t do it. Not sure what theyre winches were rated for...

Any one know if it’s possible to hardwire a winch safely to the powerboost? Cant seem to find any info on this. Will i burn out a battery sensor if i do this?

Is that possibly the old TRM persistent DTC that all the trucks had a few months ago that maybe hasn’t been resolved for him yet?

im not. I bought a license to access FDRS and manually did all the updates myself.

My issue ended up being i just needed the finish the OTA updates. my truck go some which knocked out the lane centering assist, but now that i got the rest of the updates its back to working normal. Its all the updates that get you to functioning Blue Cruise. and yea my dealer too didnt know...

The only thing the dealer did for me was get the TSB to work and 1 APIM update. The rest i did on my own from FDRS. The TSB wouldn’t work for me, they had to do some special stuff, idk what. They had my truck for a week and a half.

My dealer actually got my truck being stuck fixed! They managed to get the TSB to work after i had many failed attempts. Here now doing all the updates. Finally out of 20312 hell, now up to 21281. Ofcourse got stuck on a GWM update with the VCM data issue. Guess ill be waiting until tmrw to...

Yea they seem clueless. Im just happy to be unstuck. When i spoke to them dropping my truck off their response to the Blue Cruise was… we dont have “Blues Cruise” yet. … as if this is what I was asking for ? Thats fine, id rather do the updates myself. Its more fun that way.
