What do they get burning corn juice? E85 is ~50% the cost of 93 here.

My lifetime average is hanging at 20.5
Rural and little traffic getting to freeway.
About 10 miles at 50 and 10 miles at 75-80
A trip to Nevada killed the mileage tho.
Cruise control set at 83, Texas hills, and a big blue brick was not conducive to good mileage——17.5 on that trip, but the ride was nice.
5.0/3.31/4x4/164wb.

still better than the 15 that my 98k1500 would get if it felt well.

I'm at roughly 9400 miles and owned for a year. My average since I left the dealership is at 20.2MPG. That's with a mix of shorter trips and light plowing in the winter too. I am surprised how well this truck does with fuel. Other than in the winter with plowing, I don't think I've seen lower than 19MPG on a tank. I'm consistently seeing 20-22MPG per tank, which is more than fine with me. Supercrew with 3.31s, 1.5" level and stock size tires.

No kidding, had half a tank the other day, filled up, just a tick over 12 gallons E85, $36.00

today, had half a tank had to drive 2 hours, 1 hr back and forth so filled up with 91. Again, a tick over 12 gallons...$58.20

If you're blending half and half, run 87 / e85 for optimal cost and performance. That'll put you around 96 octane e40. That's around optimal energy content and corn juice.

yup, gonna start doing 50/50, straight E85 had me down to 13mpg...and there's only one place in town to get it. So will start mixing, see what MPG gets me :)

For my last few vehicles, I reset both trip 1 and trip 2 as I left the dealer parking lot. I leave trip 2 for lifetime and reset trip 1 for each fillup.

My combo city/highway with Flex fuel is about 19. Highway driving only, yes, definitely in the 20+ club though.

Just crossed 5k on my 2023, Screw, 3.31 stock Ford Dynapro tires , dence suburbs, no trips yet and my average mileage from start has just climbed above 20 MPG. Typically drive in Normal mode with some Sport thrown in. I am not light footed off the light. Do not tow but I do haul.
I am pleased. Side note I am also happy with the Ford Tread Dynapro Tires. Very similar to my fav. Michelin Defenders

I like seeing how high I can get my mileage when I have the time to go a bit slower. I recently took a 140 mile each way weekend trip and averaged 31.2 mpg on the way there, and 28.1 mpg on the way back. I had about a 10 mph tail wind going and very little wind on the way home. 3.31, 4x4, 87 octane. With the 36 gallon tank that's quite a possible range! I average about 60 mph, a little slower up big hills and high 60's down. It's amazing to think we could save probably 10% or more gas and still go everywhere we want just by driving habits.
