Tire Nut socket size?

I'm embarrassed to ask this but I can't figure what the socket size is for my 24 Lariat with stock tires.

I've looked in the manual and it gives the bolt size and torque. I plug that into ChatGPT and it gives me 21mm to 23mm which seems odd to have metric for an American truck.

I want to have to use my own tools for replacing a tire and torquing it and not the stuff Ford gives us. I'm sure you understand there.

Yup manufacturers switched to metric in the 90s.

21mm is a bit big go 13/16 won’t round lugs. 13/16 is 20.65 mm. I use 13/16 lug nuts hold up well

I tried both and 13/16 is a much better fit. Wonder why people get rounded lug nuts? Tire shops with a 21 mm and impact. Try both and see for yourself

Ok 21 mm converted to decimal is 0.8267"

13/16" is 0.8125". If you are rounding over with a 21mm you needed new lug nuts to begin with.

It is 13/16, not 21 mm.
You can probably use 21 mm, but there is a bit of a freedom around the nut.
