I can confirm at least for me location is far less flakey. Does take a few seconds for lock/start buttons to show up now which I assume is app connecting to truck.

It’s a crap update because it’s missing a ton of features from the previous version.
Accessing features from inside the vehicle as an alternative is just… not an alternative at all.

I have a question: why was it considered ready for release when missing so many features that already existed?

It is par for Ford to do it like this ain't it? I mean they roll out trucks with missing parts and features, defective parts.....list goes on

This update sucks. Leave it to Ford to take something that worked flawlessly, and ruin it. RUINED.

The only thing that has prevented me from entirely disabling the cell antenna on my truck is this app. I'm glad Ford did me a favor. I know what I'm doing this weekend.

At this point with 5.0.1 my location works, doors Lock/Unlock, Remote start works just fine. I must say, the old press and hold sucked, not missed. I'm happy to see progress there for sure. I'm betting we'll see the missing features added soon enough. Change is not always an easy pill to swallow. It always goes down easier with a shot of patience though ?

I am still waiting on @Ford Motor Company to advise what is going on with the FordPass App. They make a declarative post on this forum with enthusiasm, but then fail to provide follow up. How disappointing.

App still is garbage even with the minor update. Bring back the features and usability that we expect!

We had horrible storms and many tornadoes in Arkansas this past weekend. It was my first real opportunity to use the ProPower Onboard to power things in our home. It did awesome! It worked so well, our neighbor ran power off of it at the same time. We never hit even close to 50% capacity.

On the downside…..this APP! It would have been so useful to check the status included on the previous version. Instead, I ran out to the truck after plugging in every additional item. Since I hadn’t used it before, I didn’t know exactly what the capacity would be.

Bring back our APP features!!

I didn't use some of the things others note but I did use tire pressure and oil life. Also used trailer light check and PPOB monitor.

I almost never start my vehicle remotely but understand why some do.

Never used zone lighting either but never say never.

Having the service records right there is handy.

I understand that some of these are, or have been reinstalled in the app and thats great but until TL check and PPOB monitoring are, I'll be keeping V4 for as long as possible.

Well, so much for that.

Tried to use PPOB monitoring and zone lighting yesterday. They've been disabled on V4.

Probably means trailer light check won't work when I pull out for home tomorrow either.

It would make sense for them to kill off whatever old API was left before starting over. Or the features are gone forever. Who knows at this point. Features are still listed on the Ford website being able to control with app. ?‍

I'm pretty sure V5 Build # 5.0.0 is the final and complete version of FordPass. It's complete. They're done. Everybody went home and are now waiting on VW to hire them to work on their software now. ??

Once there on boarded over at VW, I'm absolutely certain there customers will be ecstatic about there tremendous abilities to program great apps for there cars. I can see all of the 5 star ratings now! ?
