Adaptive Head Lights - Coming to the US???

After owning my truck for almost 3 years, I have finally bit the bullet and enabled glare free. With everything I have done to this truck, that had to be a "pucker factor = 9". It seems to have worked, the auto high beam indicator on the instrument panel turned green and I now have a Glare Free selection under lighting. I won't be able to test it until tonight but I will count this as a win.

Add to that the idiotic aftermarket headlights and bulbs that American drivers add to their vehicles with no light alignment inspection, so of course American drivers blinded at night are mostly an American problem.

Quick question, 2024 Lariat 501A here which does come with the "LED Projector Headlights with Dynamic Bending" however when I go to the lighting section of settings I don't see an option for Glare Free or Adaptive Headlamps. I'm in Canada. Any thoughts? If I enable Glare Free Headlights via Forscan will it automatically also turn on Adaptive Headlamps?

That's not a good sign. On the 21-23 glare free was enabled by default on Canadian market trucks. Might have to chalk it up as another cost cut.

I don't know if the Adaptive function shows up in a menu.. do your lights not turn with the steering? It should be fairly obvious with the high beams on.

Yeah. Since it is not enabled by default in a brand new '24 Canadian truck, maybe the new headlights dont have the glare free feature?

Haven't tried driving the truck around in the dark on a twisty highway so not sure if the lights turn with the wheel or not.

I think Adaptive and Auto Highbeam are two different things.

Ok just tried the Glare Free Menu process from this spreadsheet

All was going well until I got to the following change in the HCM module and it failed.

So I had to revert HCM, IPC, SCCM, IPMA and AIPM back to defaults. Looks like whatever they changed with the 2024 LED Projector headlights killed this feature

If glare free is active on the '24 Canadian trucks, hopefully the gurus will be able to see any changes in the '24 USA settings.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford decided you need to buy a platinum for that feature with all their changes on the '24 packages.
