@SilverPigeon is correct. It will check for an update by tapping update details. TBH, I’ve never gotten an update or update notification because I checked. Rarely, I’ve checked, had nothing and 15 min later had an update available. Usually, it just causes the phantom update to occur

How do I know if the update I just got is EARLY and can’t share? It’s not on the xls, I don’t think… Well, if I added 1 to the final number it’d be on there, but I have a 21, not 23

It’s normally a USB outlet. Maybe supposed to be plugged on your model, maybe previous owner removed ??‍♂️

Resetting Sync will likely fix it. But, after I did that, I quit getting updates with the previous “regularity.” Well, at least in the couple months since I did it, I’ve gotten none.

Yep. After you do the reset, log out of and back into the ford pass app (At least, I had to) to get your connected features back. The cell signal will change from the double lines to the double lines with the location triangle when they’re back.
