@SilverPigeon is correct. It will check for an update by tapping update details. TBH, I’ve never gotten an update or update notification because I checked. Rarely, I’ve checked, had nothing and 15 min later had an update available. Usually, it just causes the phantom update to occur
How do I know if the update I just got is EARLY and can’t share? It’s not on the xls, I don’t think…
Well, if I added 1 to the final number it’d be on there, but I have a 21, not 23
Still, I appreciate the answer. I went from hearing people on the phone through CarPlay at halfway volume (15) going down the highway with the windows open to needing to crank it to max and shut the window.
Thanks for the response BDD!

So, I’m pretty sure this will fix my 6ch/8ch audio shenanigans. But it says it didn’t complete and update now doesn’t do anything (says there are no updates). Never got an update notice. Anyone have any ideas?
Resetting Sync will likely fix it. But, after I did that, I quit getting updates with the previous “regularity.” Well, at least in the couple months since I did it, I’ve gotten none.
Oh man! If I get the battery one, the DSP fix one and that one, I’d be ? ! But I haven’t gotten an update in months, so I’m ?
Good thing I’m in the Early program
Yep. After you do the reset, log out of and back into the ford pass app (At least, I had to) to get your connected features back. The cell signal will change from the double lines to the double lines with the location triangle when they’re back.
As penance you should actively work on infiltrating the Ford OTA group and continually tie the teams’ shoelaces together until they learn to stop tripping over themselves ?
