Ford Power-Up 6.3.0 SYNC version 23291

Finally got 6.3.0 today driving home from work and three days ago 2.7.4 reloaded. Hopefully 6.4.0 and 6.5.0 aren’t too far behind. 21 XLT.

I received 6.3.0 this afternoon while returning from shopping. Just 12 hrs ago 2.7.4 downloaded as a scheduled OTA. However, as I was driving home today, Sirius radio stopped working and I had a message that there was a hardware problem. When I parked in my garage I received a message that 6.3.0 was downloading. Download was completed successfully and now Sirius is working again. Coincidence or was 6.3.0 interfering with Sirius ? Sync did update to 23291.

I just got 6.3, noticed the font of the text is different. Other than that can’t tell any other differences.

Great. Got 6.3 today some time...now my radio is pretty much useless. It randomly switches between CarPlay and Sirius about every 15 seconds. Lovely work Ford. Guess I'll have to disconnect the phone if I want to listen to anything.

Seems with every update, Ford just seems to break something else.

Just got 6.3, My Sirius was strange at first, thought I lost all my presets but back to normal now.

This should be a default setting when using the right turn arrow

God I hope not. My friend's Honda had this and I found it SO annoying. If you adjust your mirrors there's basically no blind spot (even in cars). Also I have tow mirrors so I don't need this feature and I hope I can disable it if it comes out.

Can someone please explain to me (like I am 2) what the two versioning systems are for? The only updates I ever see are the 2.x.x versions. I don’t remember seeing any of the 6.x.x updates.

Only Ford knows and the version numbers are stupid. They have been pushing out 2.7.3 to trucks reusing an old version number from long ago. We had the same happen earlier this year going out of numerical order.

My truck just installed 6.4.0 without ever getting 6.3.0 and I'm not sure if this will be an issue or not. I think it will be fine, but after 6.2.0 I expected 6.3.0

If you truly have only seen 2.x updates on your truck then head to the VIN lookup thread and find out what is going on. You should have had 4.x updates by now for most 21 trucks, unless yours is stuck.

This morning I did a BMS reset. At some point after that my truck updated to 6.3.0. The Ford Pass notification just came through.

Got 6.3 last night, after blacking out my screen for 10 minutes while driving (fun). Anyways now I have three different fonts for the Time/Temp/Phone List. WTF Ford? Can you at least have the same font across the top banner? It's freaking amateur hour at Ford apparently. Coming soon, Comic Sans?
