Correct, I'm currently employed as an automotive technician, but most of the work that I do is on European luxury vehicles and sport cars. I do wind up working on plenty of other vehicles like Fords, Jeeps, and Toyotas, but they aren't the primary focus where I work.

My only reason for avoiding the Clore 20A PL2320 charger that many people recommend, is that I have run into many situations where even 40A isn't enough to maintain the desired voltage level. I don't actually have anything bad to say about that particular unit, it just isn't a good fit for me. The 100A PL6800 wound up being a great option that I would purchase again, but I get far more use out of a tool like this than most people will.

I also tried the PL3760 which advertises a 60A stable power supply mode and I highly recommend avoiding this unit entirely, the PL3760 wasn't stable at all, and it would fault out by going too far over and under the set voltage during transient loads. The PL3760 also had very dirty power, you could hear humming in my truck anytime it was connected. I regret buying the PL3760.

I have not noticed if it is different for the PB. On my EB, it is going from ML3A-14C204-LUJ to ML3A-14C204-VXC. I would need the VIN of a PB that got the 22-PU-1009-PPO-SI update sent to it. Whether the OTA went through or not.

Ah, yeah, not an OTA, it's FDRS patch of traction inverter, ABS, and PCM which will most likely change the strategy so I'll have to hold off on PCM for now.

Is this because of a Tune? What does Strategy mean?

I was talking to Fletch @ livernois the other day and he talked me through the process and what not...just trying to figure out how all this works and if I do the Tune, will a PCM OTA brick my truck?

It will not brick the truck, but it will wipe out the tune. At that point, you have to contact tech support at Livernois and they will send an updated tune to your tuner so you can re-flash the tune with the updated strategy file and get not only the tune back on your truck, but the latest software from Ford, as well.

As far as what a strategy is: I can give you the Google definition for it, but it will make as little sense to you as it does to me. We aren't software engineers, so the lingo is beyond my comprehension. I found the link below useful to understand a little about module programming. Is anyone experiencing login issues this morning? Sign-in keeps wanting to tell me incorrect email and password however it is not. Created another account through the motorcraft site and same issue. License is valid. Looks like everything tests ok from Ford's end.

Good to know! Thank you. I can get it to clear the error and hit sign in and it just reverts back. The other day this happened but it only took me a couple times of signing in for it to finally hit.

I am trying to update my APIM with usb but get error code_0.
@Jesse-Infotainment was able to help me before with older APIM by creating usb update without nav voice files which worked.
But now with the new APIM I need help with getting the APIM update files without nav voice files if @Jesse-Infotainment or anyone else can help please do. my vin

Anyone else experiencing logon issues with FDRS? Tried multiple times on 2 different laptops one running 37.4.7 and the other running 38.5.7. Both just return the word “null” in the upper left hand corner of the logon screen. Network diagnostics all “Pass” on both.

Are you using a VPN? If so, turn if off.
