What are the SYNC® 4* navigation options

I wonder how many people with Lariat MID and below knew they were going to have to pay for the navigation feature anyway? Only if you have Assist specd did you get the BUILT-IN nav where you only had to pay for updates and live information.

Lariat HIGH and above are fine...for now.

I'm due for a window sticker any day now. I got my VIN the week before they removed the Platinum seats, if my sticker shows up with the seats, nav and XM removed I'm going to be livid, and probably cancel my order. GMC Sierras are looking might fine lately.
Thats what I ended up going with. Had a platinum ordered but cancelled and went with a Denali. Always was a Ford guy but I think they may have lost me to GMC.....

Didn't GM remove heated seats and heated steering wheel?

Chip related deletions isn't a Ford exclusive. It's raining on customers parade in all flavors

When I was looking into a refreshed Sierra, I was under the impression that certain items like heated seats would not be included in the truck at delivery, but would end up being installed as a dealer retrofit. GMC would give the buyer a $50 credit for the inconvenience, but the option would "eventually" get installed. Not sure if that has changed, but could very well depend on the trim. I was looking into a Denali at the time.

Similar to this.

@Snakebitten nope, still says in production, build date was 02/10/22
That's absolutely maddening. Wherever it is sitting, if it's sitting, it's likely become normal to sit there. As if it doesn't belong to anyone.

I honestly think I would start over.

It was "brought back from storage facility to factory on April 16th" so I am not what is going on. I am close to calling it quits and going to buy something else.

I am not adding salt to the wound.... will the ones that have these options loose them or they will be turned off or OTAed out?

FYI - I ordered a Lariat PB 502a on 1/28 and about a week ago received a VIN and build date of 6/6. I have that Connected (Assist) Nav with the 3 year trial. I have not received any notice from Ford or dealer about this deletion. Not yet anyway.

It sounds like 502+ trim level trucks aren't losing this feature.

If what Ford Authority says regarding the Bronco carries to the F150, owners will loose them - "it doesn’t appear likely that Ford dealers will be able to add this feature at a later date..."

For those that use SiriusXM, you can still listen via your phone and their app via Android Auto, etc.

Thanks...I don't use SiriusXM and I do use Android auto for maps.

Ford will be contacting you directly to find out where your truck is so they can come out and remove the satellite antenna. They'll have to do this for every truck built since the 2021 MY, but it is a testament to their commitment to spreading out the misery equally and fairly.
