From the original post it seems you will know if this impacts you by the notation on your window sticker. I can’t tell if the navigation matters or not because I am accustomed to using my phone for that, but I would be pretty upset at losing XM radio and having to add that back.

When they dropped park assist from my Platinum, I was annoyed, but likely not a feature I was actually going to use. Then they dropped the Platinum seats, which was beyond annoying, and I had to think hard about whether I would cancel my order. If they drop the built-in navigation, I will cancel my order.

Dealer just called me and told me about the nav removal. Not a big deal to me since I'll use apple/android, but he also said they are removing Co-Pilot 2.0 Active & Assist from all builds not updated by 5/27. Anyone else hear this?

My rep didn't say anything about my CoPilot Assist. That truly would be a deal breaker for me and I would have wasted 4 months waiting. I would not buy this truck without it as I see it as a minimum for a truck of this price. Honestly I think it's ridiculous how expensive these trucks are already, but here we all are :).

it would be good to know if this is for trucks already scheduled. I only listen to XM Radio and it’s been that way for the last 3 years. 2-1/2 hours in my truck each day so this would be a big impact for me.

I'm due for a window sticker any day now. I got my VIN the week before they removed the Platinum seats, if my sticker shows up with the seats, nav and XM removed I'm going to be livid, and probably cancel my order. GMC Sierras are looking might fine lately.

We need someone like Granger to chime in and set the record straight.

What exactly is being removed?
Can it be added later?
Which orders are impacted?

It'll be interesting if I end up with the same removals. My salesman never even mentions the active motion seats being removed, so I doubt I'll get a call about other stuff getting removed. I'll keep an eye on my order tracking status page to see if any new "removals" pop up.

Take this for what it’s worth…..copied and pasted from another forum.

"Connected Navigation and SiriusXM with 360L are no longer available on 100A-501A where optional or included. Connected Navigation and SiriusXM® with 360L Removal is now required where applicable on these trims and will include a credit on the window sticker. Connected Built-In Navigation is no longer available where optional on 100A-501A trims."

It is true, the above is taken from the dealer release. But note that if you have a 502a Lariat or higher on order, you still get Nav/Sirius it looks like.

Agree. My wife had a loaner S5 last week while her Q3 was in the shop... my truck order is looking less and less tempting. I can make due without one like I have up to this point, but I wish they had it together. The whole process has been so frustrating.

I had an RS5. Let me tell you, Ford was finally catching up to where Audi was in 2014. With all these features being removed...

We’re all gonna be driving $70k XL’s before long.
You're so right.

It's one thing for Ford to unilaterally remove features and give a sorry $200 credit, but then they want to retain the profit side of those options they are removing.

It would be immensely helpful if Ford would actually communicate to us. I only ordered in Apr, but I have heard nothing from my dealer. I get the whole supply chain thing, but you can’t keep removing thousands in options and giving us credits for hundreds. Well, they can, but not on my dime.
