Advanced Security Pack Removal?

Just got the Window sticker for my 502A to be built 12/03. It's showing start/stop, heated mirrors, and now Advanced Security Pack Removal. Yet another thing to be irritated about. I hadn't heard anything about removing the alarm system yet. Has anyone else had this yet?

Removed from my Lariat 502A as well. Was not aware of it until I got the window sticker. Stinks, but not a deal breaker for me.

I believe it is only the internal sensor alrm part. but I could be wrong. and it was removed from my build as well.

My truck was built today and is now awaiting shipment. My blend date was 11/22

The key fob under the chin trick is pretty interesting.

Yeah I knew that’s where they were in the 13gen but I’ll have to look at mine. See if there is even room there. I have a little sensor looking thing in the plastic part that covers the camera and stuff on the windshield.

Turn the two sensors that they deleted be put back if you want them and probably have to be programmed does anybody know how and where even part numbers? Looks like you need a new overhead Consol.

no sure somewhere i read its in the overhead center console. not sure about the part you listed is that one of them?

That trick has been around since aftermarket alarms first came out. The increased range you get doing it is pretty impressive.

I had looked into it for the 20 Ranger and found that it's fairly straight forward. The module plugs into the harness and mounts on the driver's side kick panel area. Some versions had a LED indicator that had to be snaked up and mounted in the top of the dash if you wanted it. Then there was some minor coding with FDRS or Forscan to make it all work correctly but don't remember the specifics. It's only about an hour shop time for the dealer to install it and can use your Ford points for it if you want.
